Love & Worry

“You can not worry about someone and love them at the same time. Most people mistake the emotion of worry for the emotion of love. They think that worrying about somebody means that you love them.” A.

Do you understand this? Give it some thought. You see…if you worry, you are in a state of “fear”. If you are in a state of “fear” you can not be in a state of LOVE. It’s been written about a lot, but all emotions can be reduced down to two. Love and Fear. Which one will you choose today?

  1. i was at a conference years ago and the speaker imparted another great piece of life wisdom … “Life is full of major NON-decisions.” Did you decide to live where you live? Did you decide to have three children? Did you decide to stay at your job/career? Etc.

    1. Natalie,

I was at a tradehsow and one of these dime a dozen motivational speakers talked about “choices”. And all the choices we are faced with on a daily basis. Why do we order a “vanilla skim decalf half caf” everytime we are at Starbucks, because we “choose” what’s familiar.
After reading an awesome quote in the morning with my fiancee and us talking about it…
as the presenter spoke about choices my mind started wandering and I had that A-Ha moment.

Most people live in a constant state of worry (fear)…part of the reason we do that is because it’s familiar…it’s what we know. To change that you have to become aware it. So the quote, is just really really right on the money…but I think I think it’s so “simple”…..that many/most people won’t get it. But if you reflect on it….

My martial arts teacehr used to tell me years ago “happiness is right there in front of you…it’s up to YOU to experience it”.
      Again…choices, it’s a choice. So choose love 🙂

Thanks for asking…I ‘m trying to incorporate some more “stuff” like this into the blog…eating good is one thing…but thinking good is BIG.
      Marc
