Who started calling it “hump day”?. It’s sad isn’t it? Unless we are talking “hump day” as in we are leaving the office at lunch, for a quickie at home 😉 That’s a good hump day.
But other wise, it insinuates that the week is a drag….and that we’ve arrived at the mid way point. I remember Tony robbins once saying “A week consists of 7 days, how sad that most people just live for 2 (Sat. and Sun.)”
Sorry……back to food.
Cup of coffee, 3 large stalks of Bok choy, 5 asparagus stalks, 1/4 of a red pepper, one scallion, left over grass fed hamburger patty.
Sauted all of it in a little olive oil, and then added some home made chimichurra sauce (so easy to make, so usefull) Delicious right?
Lunch; Client lunch at a restaurant…….
Grilled piece of chicken over romaine lettuce. no dressing large glass of water.
Want to know what my customers ate?
First post since this past Friday.
Enjoyed a wonderful weekend, filled with great times. Family time, play time and feel good eating.
3 scrambled eggs, (made them in some butter) 4 cherry tomatoes cut up, 8 asparagus stalks cut up, some scallion, fresh ground pepper and a dash of hot sauce. Handful og grapes and cherries.

Lunch; Some left over grilled chicken breast, celery stalks. Simple and quick, short on time. Remember, plan ahead.
Snack; white nectarine.
Dinner; sauteed some garlic in olive oil, (watch the heat) grass fed ground beef, crushed fresh pepper, then added some crushed tomatoes. simmer. put it over a nice organic red leaf lettuce. Glass of red wine.
Breakfast; grilled chicken breast, tomato, asparagus, yellow pepper (all raw) small spoon of vegenaise. One delicious chicken salad. small bowl of honeydew melon.
Breakfast was simple and quick;
Had some left over grilled (skinless) chicken thighs. (about 3 of them)
Large amount of celery, cut up. Some grapes.
Lunch; 5 thin slices of raw salmon, 5 thin slices of raw snapper. small cucumber salad with sesame seeds and seaweed.
Dinner; Sauteed bok choy with asparagus, yellow pepper, shallot and garlic. Grilled chicken breast. 2 glasses Red wine
Had a good workout this morning, but an even better breakfast;
some good ole ” lox eggs and onions” Saute some onion, put in some smoked salmon stir and put aside. Scrambled eggs with three eggs only 2 yolks. Then combine. One small organic zucchini. Eaten raw, sorta like a carrot 😉
Had some honeydew with it.
Some salad with a few pieces of pulled chicken. Small portion….was still somewhat full from breakfast. It just set the tone for the day, delicious, filling, nutritious and satisfying.
Afternoon snack; couple more pieces of honeydew.
I’ll let you know what I had for dinner, tomorrow.
Being outside is important for your health. Sun makes us feel good, don’t over do it, build up slowly, bu I don’t think human skin was designed to be wearing sunscreen.
What does this have to do with food?????????????? Sorry…weather is just real nice outside.
and sitting at my desk is not helping the situation.
Here’s yesterday’s summary of foods;
Breakfast was some left over turkey burger, with some asparagus stalks and left over salad.
Lunch; short on time, grabbed lunch at a salad bar in a large health food supermarket.
Some oven roasted turkey and some pulled rotisserie chicken, raw zucchini some peppers, some sunflower and pumpkin seeds some olive oil.
Kept it a light day as I had a client dinner.
Dinner; steakhouse, grilled piece of ribeye, sauteed spinach glass of red wine. Too much food, but I enjoyed it.
So today, some calorie restriction.
Breakfast; 2 boiled eggs (egg white only, handful of grapes, 5 almond)
Lunch, few bites of grilled chicken, some lettuce and tomato.
Dinner will most likely consit of a glass of red wine and early night sleep.
I hope you’re seeing that eating healthy and natural doesn’t mean no flavor. I use many different marinades to give food some spectacular flavors. Food is to be enjoyed.
However……balance is key. Have some days when the food you make is bland. give the taste buds a rest. Example is BREAKFAST this morning;
4 boiled eggs, cut up small organic zucchini, a few strips yellow and orange peppers cut up, 4 asparagus stalks cut up. A few blue berries. Simple right?
